AdventEnergy, the retail electricity arm of Aboitiz Power Corporation, has completed the aggregation of two facilities owned by Frabelle Cold Storage Corporation in Navotas, with a combined capacity of 746 kilowatts.
The move is part of the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP), led by the Energy Regulatory Commission, which allows businesses to combine their electricity demand to secure lower and more competitive rates directly from suppliers.
AdventEnergy said the initiative will help critical industries like food storage maintain reliable power, which is essential for preserving food quality. Frabelle Cold Chain officials welcomed the partnership, noting that stable and predictable electricity supply is vital to their operations.
The Philippine cold chain industry is expected to grow by 8–10 percent annually, according to the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines, driven by higher food safety standards and the expansion of modern retail.
Frabelle Cold Chain operates facilities near major ports and highways and is part of the larger Frabelle Group, which has businesses in fishing, aquaculture, food production, and logistics.
AdventEnergy has also provided aggregated power supply to major clients such as the SM Group and DITO Telecommunity. As of December 2025, the Aboitiz Group holds a 26 percent share of the country’s competitive retail electricity market.
The company said the initiative supports government efforts to expand energy choice and improve access to reliable power across industries.
