PAL expands US network with new non-stop service to Chicago

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will launch a new nonstop flight between Manila and Chicago starting November 9, expanding its network in the United States. Chicago becomes PAL’s eighth U.S. and U.S. territory destination, alongside Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Guam, and Saipan.

The new service will operate three times a week—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Flights from Manila will leave in the afternoon and arrive in Chicago the same afternoon local time, while return flights will depart Chicago in the evening and arrive in Manila the following morning. PAL said the route will improve access between the U.S. Midwest and the Philippines through its Manila hub and strengthen both passenger and cargo connections.

To promote the launch, PAL is offering introductory roundtrip Economy fares starting at $667 for bookings made from April 16 to May 31, 2026. The airline also highlighted Chicago’s importance as a major U.S. aviation hub and gateway for trade and tourism.

The new route is part of PAL’s wider expansion in North America. It is increasing flights to Los Angeles and Seattle in 2026, while maintaining daily San Francisco service, three weekly New York flights, and regular services to Hawaii and other Pacific destinations.
