TRB approves toll collection for final CAVITEX C5 link segment starting May 5

The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved toll collection for the final section of the CAVITEX C5 Link, known as Segment 3B, beginning May 5, 2026.

The segment opened on March 30 and has been free to use since then, benefiting an estimated 9,000 motorists daily. The new road has significantly improved travel in the south, cutting travel time between the Manila-Cavite Expressway and Taguig City from about 1.5 hours to just 15 minutes.

Starting May 5, motorists traveling between Taguig and Sucat Road (Dr. A. Santos Avenue) will pay the following toll fees:

₱59 for Class 1 vehicles

₱117 for Class 2 vehicles

₱176 for Class 3 vehicles

For those traveling from Taguig to Roxas Boulevard or Zapote, toll rates will be:

₱97 for Class 1

₱194 for Class 2

₱291 for Class 3

With Segment 3B now open, the CAVITEX C5 Link is fully connected. It provides faster access to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and C5 through key interchanges, including Coastal Road, Sucat Road, and C.P. Garcia Avenue.

Officials say the completed expressway will help improve the movement of goods between Cavite’s industrial areas and business centers in Metro Manila. It is also expected to reduce traffic congestion by offering an alternative route, especially for heavy vehicles.
