Security Bank expands reach in Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur

Security Bank Corp. has opened new branches in San Carlos, Pangasinan and Candon, Ilocos Sur as part of its efforts to expand banking access in Northern Luzon.

The bank said the new branches aim to support households, entrepreneurs, and local businesses in communities where agriculture, trade, and enterprise continue to fuel economic growth.

The San Carlos branch will serve Pangasinan’s growing economy, which is driven by agriculture and commerce, while the Candon branch in Ilocos Sur will provide wider access to banking services in an emerging trade and business center.

“We want to make banking simpler and faster while staying close to our customers,” said Leslie Cham, executive vice president and head of Security Bank’s Branch Banking Group. “These new branches combine digital banking services with the personal connection that communities value.”

Security Bank said the expansion reflects its continued investment in areas outside major urban centers, where increasing economic activity is driving demand for more accessible financial services.

The bank now has 389 branches nationwide and continues to strengthen its branch network alongside its digital banking services to provide more convenient and secure banking options for individuals and businesses.

Security Bank said customers may access its services through branch transactions, financial advice, and digital banking platforms.
