The Manila Water Company subsidiary Manila Water Philippine Ventures (MWPV) celebrated its 11th anniversary by highlighting major gains in water service expansion, operational efficiency, and infrastructure development across the Philippines.
MWPV now serves nearly 2 million people in over 50 cities and municipalities nationwide. In 2025, the company expanded water access in key areas, including Ilagan City, where an alternative water system delivers 8 million liters daily, and Pangasinan, where service connections grew by 12 percent.
Laguna Water surpassed 130,000 service connections, while MWPV also reduced overall non-revenue water losses from 25 percent in 2023 to 18 percent in 2025, improving system efficiency.
Several business units earned international and regional recognition, including Laguna Water, Clark Water, Boracay Water, Cebu Water, and Tagum Water, for achievements in sustainability, energy efficiency, and operational excellence.
MWPV also invested more than P3 billion in infrastructure and sustainability projects in 2025, while expanding its development footprint through new projects, including the Non-East Zone’s first desalination facility in Lio, El Nido.
As it enters its second decade, MWPV said it remains focused on expanding safe and reliable water services and strengthening climate resilience nationwide.
