BDO Unibank is encouraging customers to grow their savings while enjoying shopping perks through its BDO Rewards program, with actress and Gen Z star Belle Mariano leading the campaign.
Under the program, customers who maintain at least ₱50,000 in their savings account and activate their Rewards Card can start earning Rewards Points. Members receive one point for every ₱30,000 maintained monthly, with each point equivalent to ₱1 that can be used for shopping discounts.
Rewards Points may be redeemed at SM Retail stores, converted into e-gift certificates from partner lifestyle brands, or used as cash credit for BDO Credit Cards or SMAC memberships.
All new BDO account holders are automatically enrolled in the BDO Rewards program under the Emerald tier. Customers may move up to Sapphire and Diamond tiers as their savings increase, unlocking additional benefits and privileges.
BDO also announced that the Rewards program is now accessible through the BDO Pay app, allowing users to check points, monitor savings, and redeem e-GCs in one platform.
According to Belle Mariano, the program helps young savers balance responsible spending with occasional rewards without extra costs. Customers may activate their Rewards Card through BDO Pay or visit a nearby branch for more information.
