TELUS Digital Philippines said its employee-centered approach to artificial intelligence adoption helped lower attrition and strengthen workforce engagement in 2025.
It said the development underscores the growing importance of retention and workplace culture as the IT-BPM industry undergoes rapid technological transformation.
The company reported a 15-percent year-on-year decline in attrition while maintaining a 91-percent employee engagement rate across 2024 and 2025, despite accelerating AI integration across its operations.
TELUS Digital Philippines said its strategy focuses on balancing innovation with workforce stability by combining AI adoption with structured upskilling, career development programs, and enhanced employee support systems.
“AI is transforming our industry, but technology alone does not build sustainable companies,” said Anne Muñoz, country vice-president of TELUS Digital Philippines.
“When AI adoption is paired with meaningful engagement, structured upskilling, and clear career pathways, it strengthens performance and supports long-term careers,” she added.
The company also honored more than 1,200 long-service awardees in 2025, recognizing employees who reached between five and 20 years of tenure — a sign, the firm said, of strong workforce loyalty despite evolving job demands and automation trends.
TELUS Digital Philippines said fostering employee connection and community has become increasingly critical as AI reshapes workflows and automates repetitive tasks.
In response, the company expanded engagement initiatives, communication platforms, and AI-focused training programs aimed at helping employees adapt to changing roles while remaining connected to the organization.
Management said the company’s experience demonstrates that AI integration can improve productivity and innovation without undermining employee retention and engagement when supported by clear governance and sustained workforce investment.
