The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is set to complete ten major infrastructure projects worth a combined P30.89 billion during the second half of 2026. Details shared by the firm include key undertakings such as the relocation of steel poles along the Hermosa-Duhat 230 kilovolt transmission line, the Nabas-Caticlan-Boracay transmission line, and the Luzon Voltage Improvement Project 3.
Also due for completion are the new Antipolo 230 kilovolt substation, the first phase of the North Luzon substation upgrade, the Tuguegarao-Lal-lo 230 kilovolt transmission line, the Amlan-Dumaguete 138 kilovolt transmission line, the Panay-Guimaras 138 kilovolt interconnection, the fourth phase of the Mindanao substation expansion, and the Nasipit substation bus-in project. Earlier this year, the private grid operator finished five projects worth a total of P7.19 billion in the first six months. These included the Laguindingan 230 kilovolt substation, the Nagsaag-Tumana and Tacurong-Kalamansig 69 kilovolt transmission lines, the Visayas 69 kilovolt transmission line upgrade, and the second phase of the Visayas substation reliability project. NGCP holds the responsibility for operating, maintaining, and further developing the Philippines’ state-owned power transmission network.
