PAL receives third A350-1000, first in Southeast Asia to operate type

Philippine Airlines has taken delivery of its third Airbus A350-1000, remaining the first and only airline in Southeast Asia to use this aircraft. The new flagship plane offers better cabins, fuel efficiency and lower emissions, and will start flying the Manila-San Francisco route on August 5, moving to daily trips by September. This is part of PAL’s fleet renewal plan, with six more units from its original order due later. The airline also announced additional plane orders recently to support wider international services and improved passenger comfort.
