D and L Industries Inc. reported an 8 percent rise in first-half 2026 net income, with a 10 percent jump in second-quarter earnings, and expects better results ahead. President and CEO Alvin D. Lao cited recovering consumer spending and stabilizing coconut oil prices as key drivers.
Total first-half sales grew 1 percent to P26.77 billion, while second-quarter revenues rose 13 percent to P13.94 billion.
The firm noted ongoing challenges from geopolitical tensions, supply chain issues, high inflation and interest rates. Higher-margin specialty products made up 51 percent of sales, consumer product earnings grew 27 percent, and exports now account for 19 percent of revenues, with a 50 percent export target in place.
