The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) cemented its standing as a regional leader with eight recognitions from FinanceAsia, topped by a Gold award as the Philippines’ Best Managed Financial Company in the 2026 Asia’s Best Companies Poll. This follows its record 2025 net income of ₱66.62 billion.
BPI Capital took three key honors: Best Investment Bank, Best ECM House, and Highly Commended for Best DCM House, highlighting strong capital markets capabilities. Its Transaction Banking unit won Best Bank for Technology for the Digital Supply Chain Financing platform, which enables real-time invoice tracking and instant working capital access.
Other wins include Best Bank for Large Corporations & MNCs (Institutional Banking, ₱1.83T loan portfolio up 10.4%) and Best Bank for SMEs (Business Banking, ₱64B portfolio up 80%). BPI was also named Philippines’ Best Sustainable Bank—70 branches now run on 100% renewable energy, 46 are EDGE-certified, and BPI Foundation reached 3.6M beneficiaries last year.
