Food delivery is now part of Filipino daily life, with foodpanda seeing peak lunch and dinner orders, steady weekend demand, and 25.3 percent of late-night deliveries (11 p.m.–4 a.m.) for burgers. Responding to this shift and rising digital payments—49 percent of platform transactions—foodpanda and EastWest have launched their co-branded foodpanda Visa credit card.
The card offers up to 10 percent cashback on foodpanda purchases, 1 percent on international spends, and 0.3 percent on groceries, fuel, transport, and shopping. Cashback flows automatically to PandaPay weekly, no points or waiting periods. Cardholders get six months of free PandaPro and first-year fee waivers, with fully digital applications via ESTA or EasyWay. Alastair De Lara of EastWest said the partnership aligns banking and delivery with modern habits, turning routine spending into simple, accessible rewards.
