For the fifth time in a series, the oil retailers implement a price hike across their product offerings.
Seaoil increased its per liter price by P1.90 for gasoline, P1.50 for diesel and P2.50 for kerosene.
Phoenix Petroleum, Clean Fuel and Jetti also adjusted their per liter price higher by P1.90 for gasoline and by P1.50 for diesel.
Beginning past midnight tonight, 15 August, Caltex Philippines increased the price of its Platinum and Silver gasoline brands by P1.90 per liter, diesel by P1.50 per liter and kerosene by P2.50 per liter.
Data from the Department of Energy (DOE) show the price of gasoline (RON95) at P71.40 per liter, diesel at P64.65 per liter and kerosene at P76.05 per liter in Manila as of 8 August this year.
DOE data also show year-to-date adjustments reflecting a net increase of P11.50 per liter for gasoline, P7.10 per liter for diesel and P2.60 per liter for kerosene.
