DigiPlus turns first Brazil revenue; maps more expansion beyond Asia

DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has started generating revenues from its Brazil operations, marking a key milestone in the firm’s push beyond Asia.

Erick Su, DigiPlus Chief Global Growth Officer, confirmed the updated platform has delivered improved performance compared to last September’s three-week soft launch—paused October 10, 2025 to refine alignment with local player preferences. Speaking at the Inside Asian Gaming Expo, Su noted current Brazil revenue remains below Philippine levels, with the international market still in early exploration.

Brazil presents significant hurdles: intense competition alongside policy uncertainty following statements from the President regarding potential online gambling restrictions.

In South Africa, DigiPlus holds 10 months to launch after securing its license and plans to engage third-party partners to establish operations. New Zealand is also in focus, with the board having approved an Expression of Interest for a gaming license filing.

Asia offers limited legalized opportunities—only the Philippines, Australia, and newly regulated New Zealand present viable openings; markets such as Hong Kong and Singapore operate under monopolies. DigiPlus is working with jurisdiction-specialized consultants to identify additional compliant markets aligned with its strengths.
