The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has officially launched eGovAI, bringing artificial intelligence capabilities into the eGovPH Super App as the government moves faster to advance digitalization, streamline procedures, and upgrade public service delivery.
A central feature of this new system is “Kuya AI,” a dedicated government AI assistant built to offer real-time support to both citizens and government agencies.
Embedded directly within the eGovPH Super App, eGovAI is designed to guide users in locating government information, navigating services, and finishing digital transactions with greater ease. Its features include AI-powered identity verification, automated document processing, translation services, and intelligent assistance.
DICT Secretary Henry R. Aguda emphasized that the initiative treats artificial intelligence not merely as a technical upgrade but as a practical instrument to transform how government serves the public.
“eGovAI marks another important step in our continuing effort to make government work better for every Filipino. We are bringing AI into the eGovernment ecosystem not simply as a technological innovation, but as a tool to make public services more responsive, accessible, and efficient,” Aguda stated.
For government agencies, the platform is expected to simplify routine workflows and support faster, more effective service delivery. For citizens, the AI integration aims to remove complexity when seeking information or completing official transactions.
The launch forms part of DICT’s wider agenda to build a digital, secure, and people-centered government. By embedding artificial intelligence into the national digital government framework, the department seeks to leverage emerging technology to raise service standards and make government interactions more convenient for all Filipinos.
