The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has extended fresh financial support to four major institutions delivering critical healthcare and humanitarian aid across the country, donating a total of P40 million.
Each recipient — Lung Center of the Philippines, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Philippine General Hospital, and Philippine Red Cross — received P10 million.
The formal turnover took place at the BSP Head Office on 22 September 2026. BSP Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr. and Deputy Governor Elmore O. Capule led the ceremony with representatives from the four institutions.
This continues over a decade of BSP backing for medical and humanitarian service providers serving underserved Filipinos. The effort falls under the central bank’s corporate social responsibility work, aimed at building more resilient and inclusive communities nationwide.
