Telecom giant Globe and digital lender GoTyme Bank have signed a pivotal data sharing agreement (DSA) aimed at enhancing cybersecurity and curbing financial fraud. The partnership will enable Globe and GoTyme to exchange critical information, such as mobile numbers linked to fraudulent activities, to expedite fraud investigations and protect consumers and businesses.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) confirmed on Friday that the EDSA Busway will remain dedicated to buses and will not be opened to private vehicles. The expected rise, from 2.4 million passengers in 2024 to a forecast of 3.3 million to 3.4 million, is driven by the transfer of some turboprop operations from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
