GCash, the mobile wallet of Globe Telecom, on Thursday assured its users that their money remains intact amid the unavailability of the e-wallet platform on Google Play Store.
The company said it is updating some features of the app for Android users and closely working with Google to make it available on the Play Store again.
“For users who wish to download the app from the Google Play Store, kindly stay tuned for more updates,” GCash said.
“Current GCash users can use the app and they can be assured that their accounts and funds are safe and secure,” it added.
GCash reiterated its app remains available on the Apple App Store and the Huawei App Gallery.
The company also advised users not to download the GCash app from untrusted sources.
With the GCash App, users can easily purchase prepaid airtime, pay bills via partner billers nationwide, send and receive money anywhere in the Philippines, and even to other bank accounts.
GCash users can also purchase from over 6 million partner merchants and social sellers, access savings, credit, loans, insurance and invest money.
