AllDay Supermarket, the supermarket operator of the Villar Group, said Friday net income in the first quarter rose 10 percent to P97 million, helped by the opening of new minimarts and enhanced product offerings.
Total revenue in the first quarter reached P2.47 billion, a 1.1 percent increase from the year-earlier period.
Frances Rosalie Coloma, president and chief executive officer of AllDay Supermarket, attributes this resilient performance to several strategic initiatives, including the continuous enhancement of product offerings, leveraging international selections, and the recent expansion with the opening of four new minimarts.
Coloma said AllDay’s steady position amidst a challenging quarter, characterized by reduced household spending and heightened prices, is a testament to the effectiveness of their strategies.
With a strong foundation laid in the first quarter, AllDay Supermarket remains poised to further elevate its offerings and solidify its position as a leading player in the premium supermarket segment.
