Megaworld Corp., Andrew Tan’s property development arm, has budgeted P12 billion to ramp up the development of the wellness township in Lipa, Batangas over the next five to seven years.
The company has partnered with the owners of the Farm at San Benito to transform the 25-hectare area into a township.
The company said San Benito Private Estate will become a low-density wellness community offering residential village lots, low-rise residential condominiums, international brand hotel, sports and leisure hub, active adult center, community gardens, commercial shops inside an expansive nature park, as well as nature walk trails.
It will be Megaworld’s 33rd township development in the country.
Located only 20 minutes from Lipa City proper, the estate offers a view of the Malarayat mountains surrounded by forests and waterways. Around half of the wellness township will be devoted to green and open spaces, including natural parks and reserves, and terrains.
“We are happy for this opportunity to develop a game-changing community anchored on holistic wellness. This forms part of our goal at Alliance Global Group, Inc. (AGI) to help further boost the country’s tourism industry by partnering with The Farm, a renowned institution that plays a huge role in introducing the country to the world in terms of medical wellness tourism,” Kevin Andrew L. Tan, Megaworld executive vice president, said.
“This is a shared vision of connecting a very high quality, top-of-the-line real estate business to The Farm. The combination of The Farm and Megaworld can open many new opportunities,” said Binod Chaudhary, chairman of the Chaudhary Group, one of the owners of the Farm.
The Farm is an eco-luxury, holistic medical wellness resort that offers natural and holistic, medically-supervised health programs carefully planned and conducted by internationally-trained medicine doctors specializing in preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, functional medicine, naturopathic medicine and holistic medicine.
