    EastWest Bank and experts discuss the future of the economy and real estate

    EastWest Banking Corp., in collaboration with industry experts, successfully hosted an economic briefing at Solaire Resort North in Quezon City focusing on the evolving Philippine economic landscape and real estate trends.

    The event, titled “Exploring the Philippine Real Estate Landscape and Economic Trends,” featured insights from Joey Bondoc, director of research at Colliers Philippines, who discussed the growing demand for office and residential spaces. He emphasized the importance of sustainable development to meet current and future market needs.

    Dr. Bernardo Villegas, a renowned economist, shared his analysis of the Philippine economy under the current administration, noting its projected growth rate of over 6 percent in the coming years. He highlighted the country’s strengths in infrastructure, investment, and the digital economy as key drivers of growth.

    Richie Tamayo, senior vice president and head of wealth management at EastWest, remarked on the necessity of providing stakeholders with essential knowledge to navigate the dynamic economic landscape.
