The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is giving back this holiday season by launching a P1.5 million raffle to encourage members and pensioners to engage with its mobile app, GSIS Touch. The “GSIS Touch and Win Raffle,” scheduled for 17 December, will reward 300 lucky winners with P5,000 each.
GSIS president and general manager Wick Veloso said the initiative aims to thank members and pensioners while promoting the benefits of using the GSIS Touch app. “By using GSIS Touch, our members not only gain faster, more convenient services but also get a chance to win and celebrate the season with us,” Veloso said.
To join the raffle, active members and pensioners who download and register the GSIS Touch app will receive one entry. Additional entries can be earned through transactions such as loan applications or compliance with the Annual Pensioners Information Revalidation (APIR). Active members can earn extra entries by applying for loans, while pensioners can earn entries by using the app’s facial recognition feature for APIR.
The winners will be selected via an electronic system and notified via mobile or email. The prize money will be credited directly to the winners’ GSIS eCards. With over 1.5 million users, GSIS Touch, launched in 2020, offers a wide range of services, from loan applications to claims tracking, and features secure biometric login options.
