The people who safeguard Security Bank every day are now helping build better learning spaces for Filipino kids.
Six trusted security agency partners have given cash and in-kind support to Security Bank Foundation’s Bayanihan Para sa Silid-Aralan campaign, funding new public school classrooms across the country.
Billy Beltran, the bank’s Chief Security Officer, led the drive alongside Col. Ferjen Torred, Special Operations Head of Security and Safety. “Education is key to nation-building,” Beltran said. “Our partners share that vision, so we came together to help more children learn.”
Participating agencies include Eparwa Security Services, Gallantry Security and Investigation Agency, Magno’s Security & Investigation Services, Tarsier Security Agency, BOS Security Solutions and Services, and Quiambao Security Specialists.
This year, the Foundation is putting up 60 classrooms at eight public schools. Donations will help meet construction costs and serve more communities. The work is part of the long-running Build a School, Build a Nation program, which has addressed classroom shortages nationwide since 2011.
