Athena to invest $5 million in training facilities in Cebu and South NCR

US-based Athena LLC, a global leader in matching executive assistants with CEOs, is set to invest at least $5 million to expand its operations in the Philippines. The company will establish new training and collaboration centers in Cebu and South Metro Manila, each with a $2.5 million price tag. This expansion follows the company’s rapid growth, which saw its workforce surge from 1,000 to 3,100 employees globally between November 2023 and December 2024.

Athena aims to more than double its workforce to 6,000 by the end of 2025, with the Philippines continuing to serve as its largest talent hub. The new facilities will support employee training and foster collaboration, bolstering the company’s efforts to enhance its services to top executives worldwide. COO Kandy White highlighted the Philippines’ critical role in providing executive talent, with Manila already housing over 2,600 employees.

In addition to the new centers, Athena is strengthening its educational initiatives, including a partnership with Woolf University and an upgraded MBA program to further develop its team’s business skills. The company also announced expansion plans into Guatemala and Kenya as part of its broader global growth strategy.

These developments underscore Athena’s commitment to investing in talent, training, and global infrastructure to meet growing demand for executive assistance services.
