Converge ICT Solutions Inc., a leading fiber broadband and technology provider, has recently earned a Tier III design certification for its upcoming Caloocan Data Center. This prestigious certification confirms that the facility meets rigorous design standards in terms of redundancy, maintainability, and uptime reliability.
Converge CEO and co-founder, Dennis Anthony Uy, emphasized the company’s focus on building future-ready infrastructure to support the delivery of resilient services to its customers. Uy also highlighted that the Tier III certification is a significant achievement, as few data centers in the Philippines hold this level of accreditation.
The Caloocan Data Center, which will house 300 racks, is part of Converge’s broader strategy to expand its network of digital hubs to meet the growing demand for content and cloud services. Additionally, the company is developing a larger 1,200-rack facility in Pampanga to address future needs for both residential and enterprise customers.
Paulo Martin Santos, Converge chief network transformation officer, outlined the company’s commitment to building a robust digital ecosystem capable of meeting evolving digital demands. The Caloocan Data Center is part of the company’s strategy to deploy multiple smaller data centers closer to end-users to optimize data delivery.
In line with innovation efforts, Converge’s new data centers will integrate AI capabilities to support generative AI applications and incorporate liquid cooling solutions to reduce power consumption and minimize environmental impact. These initiatives reflect Converge’s commitment to maintaining a competitive edge in the digital age while fostering sustainability.
