    Security Bank wins awards at CFA Society’s Vision 2025

    Security Bank Corp. received prestigious recognition for exceptional fund management at the CFA Society Philippines’ Vision 2025 event, which also featured the 10th Annual Best Managed Fund of the Year Awards. The bank was honored with two awards: Best Peso Long-Term Bond Fund for the SB Peso Bond Fund and Best Peso Equity Index Fund for the SB Philippine Equity Index Fund.

    Noel Reyes, chief investment officer and head of trust and asset management group, expressed pride in the bank’s achievement, emphasizing the consistent performance of both funds and the team’s dedication to delivering value to investors. The SB Peso Bond Fund has now won the long-term bond category five times, while the SB Philippine Equity Index Fund has been recognized for outperforming its peers in the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi).

    The Vision 2025 event evaluated 170 funds across 16 investment houses, with winners selected for their exceptional results and value to investors. The event also introduced new categories for global feeder funds and thematic funds, further expanding investment opportunities for Filipino retail investors.

    The CFA Society Philippines, which supports ethical standards and professional excellence, highlighted the significance of the awards as a benchmark for retail investors, ensuring the continued reliability of fund managers in the Philippines.
