Italpinas Development Corp. (IDC), a boutique property developer known for its green-certified projects, has entered a strategic joint venture with AV Pamatong Trading and Construction Inc. (AVP) to develop the third phase of its Primavera City complex in Cagayan de Oro. The new phase, called Citta Grande, will expand the mixed-use condominium and lifestyle hub, incorporating residential, office, and commercial units.
This partnership builds on a longstanding collaboration between the two companies, with AV Pamatong previously handling key phases of Primavera City and other IDC projects. The joint venture will see IDC Prime, a subsidiary of Italpinas, contribute land for development, while AV Pamatong will oversee structural and masonry work. The project will be divided with AVP owning 24 percent of the units and IDC Prime retaining 76 percent.
Romolo V. Nati, chairman and CEO of Italpinas, praised AV Pamatong’s reputation, local expertise, and proven track record in infrastructure projects. “With over 15 years of collaboration, we are confident that this partnership will produce excellent results for the community,” Nati said.
The joint venture reflects both companies’ commitment to high-quality, sustainable construction. AV Pamatong president and CEO, Alex V. Pamatong, emphasized IDC’s pioneering role in green architecture, noting the strong sales and demand for their environmentally friendly buildings.
