Security Bank Corp. has announced the expansion of its branch network with the opening of a new branch in San Mateo, Rizal, and the formal inauguration of its Batac, Ilocos Norte and Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay locations. The move underscores the bank’s commitment to accessible, customer-centric banking and its strategy to strengthen its nationwide footprint.
The San Mateo branch marks Security Bank’s entry into one of Rizal’s fastest-growing municipalities, aimed at serving the area’s rising residential and commercial population. Meanwhile, the Batac branch—operational since a soft launch in December 2024—officially opens in Ilocos Norte’s vibrant business center. The Ipil branch in Zamboanga Sibugay, now fully operational, extends the Bank’s reach into Mindanao, supporting local entrepreneurs, families, and MSMEs.
“These branch openings reinforce our vision to be the most customer-centric bank in the Philippines,” said Leslie Cham, executive vice president and branch banking head at Security Bank. “By establishing a strong presence in these growth areas, we are better positioned to deliver on our promise of BetterBanking—offering more personalized service, modern banking facilities, and a stronger local engagement.”
The expansion forms part of Security Bank’s broader strategy to deliver comprehensive financial solutions tailored to diverse customer needs across the country. With a continued focus on innovation and client experience, the Bank aims to elevate the in-branch journey through tech-enabled platforms and efficient service models.
Security Bank’s growth initiative reflects a broader trend among Philippine banks to enhance regional accessibility and tap into emerging markets beyond Metro Manila. As it scales operations, the Bank is positioning itself as a key player in driving financial inclusion and regional economic development.
