DITO Telecommunity, the country’s fastest-growing telecom provider, has inaugurated two new dealer stores in Biñan, Laguna, and Muntinlupa City, underscoring its commitment to grassroots entrepreneurship and nationwide expansion.
This development is part of DITO’s broader goal of fostering local partnerships through a cooperative store model that engages micro and small enterprises as business collaborators.
“This is more than a business strategy—it’s a commitment to growing alongside Filipino entrepreneurs,” said Adel Tamano, DITO’s chief revenue officer. “We are not just expanding coverage—we’re empowering communities through shared progress.”
Launched in 2021 as a challenger to the long-standing PLDT-Globe duopoly, DITO has since invested over ₱250 billion to build a nationwide network now covering 86 percent of the population via more than 7,000 cell sites. The company is set to spend an additional ₱9 billion in the next two to three years to construct 800 more towers, aiming to hit 90 percent population coverage.
President and CEO Eric Alberto previously emphasized DITO’s dual focus on infrastructure growth and inclusive commercial ecosystems, positioning the telco as both a network provider and a platform for local enterprise development.
The new dealer stores represent a key step in integrating DITO’s corporate growth with community-level business initiatives, aligning with its broader vision of inclusive innovation.
