PLDT Home ramps up support for remote work with free installation, faster speeds

PLDT Home has intensified its push to support Filipino workers amid soaring fuel costs and inflation, rolling out free installation, faster internet speeds, and flexible plans to make working from home more accessible.

The initiative comes as transportation expenses continue to rise, prompting both government and businesses to promote flexible work arrangements as a practical response to economic pressures.

PLDT Home announced it will waive the ₱3,600 installation fee for new Fiber subscribers and deliver speed boosts of up to twice the current rates for six months for plans starting at ₱1,299. The company said these upgrades are designed to ensure smooth video calls and heavy online workloads.

To improve reliability, subscribers switching to PLDT Home will also receive an “Always On” modem that automatically shifts to LTE during service interruptions—an added safeguard for remote workers and freelancers.

The telco is further bundling services with free entertainment access, a one-year gaming pass, and discounts on select Samsung home products.

PLDT Home is also expanding its prepaid fiber offerings, introducing faster speeds of up to 300 Mbps and more flexible load options ranging from daily to yearly plans. Long-term users can avail of packages costing as low as ₱19.17 per day.

The company said the expanded services aim to ease financial strain, sustain productivity, and help Filipino families adapt to ongoing economic challenges while staying connected at home.
