The Philippine Blockchain Week 2026 will take place from June 19 to 21 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, highlighting how blockchain technology is now being used in real-world systems.
With the theme “Decoded: Deployed,” this year’s event shifts focus from theory to actual implementation. Organizers say blockchain is already powering systems in finance, gaming, digital identity, and public services.
The three-day event is expected to draw more than 15,000 attendees, exceeding last year’s 11,000 participants and marking its largest gathering since launching in 2022.
PBW President and co-founder Janelle Barretto said the event will combine elements of a business conference and a cultural festival, bringing together industry leaders, creators, and communities.
Key activities include the Philippine Blockchain Leadership Forum, an invite-only summit co-presented by the Blockchain Council of the Philippines, where leaders from government and industry will discuss policy and collaboration. Other highlights include the “Decoded: Deployed” main conference, an innovation expo, and the Alt+Tab Gaming and Music Festival.
Additional events such as a hackathon, startup-investor matchmaking, and networking sessions aim to foster partnerships and new projects.
Organizers say the Philippines’ young, mobile-first population and strong gaming culture make it a key market for Web3 technologies, including play-to-earn platforms and digital finance tools.
Blockchain adoption is also gaining attention in governance. Proposals like the Citizen Access and Disclosure of Expenditures for National Accountability Act aim to improve transparency, while initiatives such as BCP’s Integrity Chain explore how the technology can support accountability.
BCP chairman Donald Lim said the focus is now on execution and collaboration between the public and private sectors to deliver long-term impact.
Organizers describe PBW 2026 as a platform for launching partnerships, products, and policies shaping the country’s digital economy. Tickets and details are available on the event’s official website.
