The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is stepping into the world of entertainment through a new partnership with The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia, blending banking with some of the biggest global franchises.
As part of its 175th anniversary celebration, BPI will roll out Disney-themed experiences featuring beloved brands like Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. The collaboration spans multiple Disney businesses, including entertainment, consumer products, cruise vacations, and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
Fans can expect themed bank cards inspired by iconic characters and stories, along with exclusive perks such as special deals on Disney cruise trips and visits to Hong Kong Disneyland. Subscribers may also enjoy promotions tied to Disney+, plus limited offers connected to upcoming Disney film releases.
BPI said the partnership is designed to bring entertainment closer to everyday life, giving Filipino families more ways to enjoy Disney experiences—from streaming and shopping to travel and theme park adventures.
Disney executives highlighted the Philippines’ strong fan base, saying the collaboration will make it easier for Filipinos to connect with their favorite stories and characters across different platforms.
With the move, BPI is positioning itself beyond traditional banking—offering customers not just financial services, but access to world-class entertainment experiences.
