Globe At Home is giving its customers a free internet speed upgrade of up to 1Gbps as part of its effort to help Filipino households cope with rising living costs and the ongoing energy situation.
The company said the initiative is meant to support families working and studying from home by improving internet connectivity and making digital tasks smoother and more efficient.
According to Globe AT HOME, the program also aligns with efforts to conserve energy, as more activities done at home can help reduce fuel use and lessen pressure on transportation-related energy demand.
Globe AT HOME vice president Abigail Cardino said the company aims to make remote work and online learning more seamless by also offering free WiFi 6 upgrades alongside faster speeds. She added that better home connectivity helps households stay productive while contributing to broader energy-saving efforts.
The company said the initiative is part of its goal to provide reliable and customer-focused services, helping families stay connected, entertained, and productive despite economic challenges.
