TP bets on AI, regions for growth

TP in the Philippines is accelerating investments in artificial intelligence-driven capabilities, regional expansion, and workforce transformation as it positions itself for the next phase of growth amid rising demand for higher-value and technology-enabled services in the country’s IT-BPM sector.

Marking its 30th year in the Philippines, the company said the industry’s future will increasingly depend on how firms combine artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and human-centered customer experience,  an area where TP aims to deepen its leadership position.

Since establishing operations in 1996, TP in the Philippines has grown alongside the country’s rise as a global services hub. The company now employs around 60,000 workers across 26 sites nationwide and continues to expand beyond Metro Manila to widen economic participation and strengthen regional talent development.

“The future of the Business Process Services industry will be defined by how effectively organizations combine AI, digital innovation, and human empathy,” said Rahul Jolly. “Today, our focus is on building an AI-enabled, future-ready workforce that can lead higher-value, more complex work while continuing to deliver the warmth and human connection that remain at the heart of the Filipino experience.”

As part of its expansion strategy, TP is ramping up digital upskilling and leadership development programs to prepare employees for more sophisticated and technology-driven roles. In 2025 alone, nearly 1,000 employees received promotions, underscoring the company’s push to strengthen its internal leadership pipeline.

The company is also expanding its regional footprint, with about 38 percent of its workforce now based outside the National Capital Region. Its newly launched Davao Uprise site is expected to widen access to quality jobs in Mindanao while supporting countryside development initiatives.

TP added that programs such as the TP Skills Training to Employment Program (TP STEP) remain central to its inclusive growth strategy by helping underserved communities gain access to formal employment and future-ready skills training.
