Medical Services of America (Philippines) Inc. (MSA-PH) has expanded its healthcare services with the launch of its first sleep study facility through a partnership with Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center (OLPMC) in Imus, Cavite.
The service, launched on May 7, aims to help diagnose and treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), a serious but often undetected condition linked to chronic fatigue, loud snoring, hypertension, heart disease, and stroke.
The new sleep study suite is equipped with advanced monitoring technology that tracks brain activity, breathing patterns, oxygen levels, heart rate, and body movements while patients sleep. This allows specialists to provide accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans without patients needing to travel far for testing.
MSA-PH officials said the partnership is intended to improve access to advanced sleep diagnostics and raise awareness about respiratory and sleep health in the region.
The sleep study service is also recognized by PhilHealth, allowing eligible members to receive subsidies if they meet clinical requirements and have a specialist referral.
The launch marks a significant step for MSA-PH, a healthcare services provider under First Philippine Holdings Corporation, as it strengthens its nationwide cardiopulmonary and diagnostic services network. Meanwhile, OLPMC continues to expand its patient care offerings as one of Cavite’s long-established ISO-certified hospitals.
