Trinoma expansion poised to transform commuter traffic

Ayala Malls is supercharging Trinoma with The Exchange at Trinoma, a new 40,000-square-meter retail and office wing designed to tap into rising commuter traffic and commercial activity at Quezon City’s upcoming Unified Grand Central Station.

The expansion cements Trinoma’s status as the only mall in Quezon City directly linked to MRT-3, MRT-7, LRT-1, major bus terminals, UV Express routes, and point-to-point transport services. This unrivaled connectivity is expected to boost daily foot traffic, broaden the mall’s reach, and drive long-term growth across Metro Manila’s northern corridor.

“Trinoma’s expansion reflects strong, sustained demand from both retailers and consumers in Quezon City,” said Paul Birkett, Ayala Malls’ chief operating officer.

Slated to open later this year, The Exchange will feature 12,000 square meters of retail space, 4,000 square meters of offices, and integrated parking and transport facilities. High-profile brands are already signing on, including ABC-Mart Grand Stage, which will mark its first northern Metro Manila location here.

The development comes ahead of the full completion of the Unified Grand Central Station and MRT-7 by 2027, projected to further accelerate commuter flows and economic activity in the area.

In parallel, Ayala Malls has refreshed Trinoma’s interiors, activity center, dining areas, and outdoor spaces to enhance the customer experience and extend visitor dwell time.

With its direct transport links and expanded commercial footprint, Trinoma is positioning itself as Metro Manila’s premier commuter-connected retail and lifestyle hub.
