Jollibee opens new Manhattan store, grows North America presence

Jollibee has opened its third store in Manhattan, New York, located at 14 East 42nd Street near Grand Central Station. Launching last March 31, 2026, the outlet serves customers daily from 9:00 AM to midnight, offering dine-in, take-out, online orders, and catering services.

The opening drew large crowds, with about 95 percent of customers from the general public rather than Filipino communities, showing the brand’s growing popularity among mainstream Americans. Popular items like Chickenjoy and Chicken Sandwich continue to drive steady visits and repeat customers well beyond launch day.

This new location strengthens Jollibee’s strategy of setting up shops in busy city centers. With this addition, the brand now runs 109 stores across North America — 81 in the U.S. and 28 in Canada.

The expansion is backed by strong brand recognition globally. Jollibee was recently ranked among the world’s top 5 strongest restaurant brands by Brand Finance, and its signature fried chicken was voted best in the U.S. for two years in a row. Leaders say this growth follows a careful, sustainable plan to succeed in competitive markets while bringing the brand’s well-loved food and service to more people.
