BTS anniversary broadcast sparks Manila fan celebration

For millions of ARMY members worldwide, June 13 is more than an anniversary—it is a celebration of BTS’ enduring global influence and the bond the K-pop supergroup has built with fans over the years.

As BTS marks its anniversary with a concert broadcast from Busan this weekend, Filipino fans will have a dedicated venue to join the festivities in real time.

Novel Hotel Manila, the metro’s first modern Korean-inspired hotel, is staging a two-day BTS watch party on June 12 and 13, transforming its event spaces into immersive fan zones inspired by some of South Korea’s most recognizable destinations.

The celebration opens on June 12 at the Seoul Function Room, designed to capture the vibrant energy of South Korea’s bustling capital. On June 13, activities shift to the Jeju Function Room, where a more laid-back setting inspired by the island’s scenic landscapes awaits concertgoers.

Organizers said the dual-theme concept is intended to give fans a symbolic journey across Korea while celebrating one of the biggest events on the BTS calendar.

More than a simple viewing party, the event aims to recreate the atmosphere of a live concert experience. Both venues will feature a large-screen setup and concert-grade audio system, allowing fans to watch the broadcast together in an immersive environment.

Guests can choose from several ticket options. The Sip & Vibe package, priced at P700, includes a signature beverage, while the P850 Snack & Stream package comes with a buffet-style snack selection. Fans who want the full experience can opt for a two-day pass, which includes a 10 percent discount.

The event is expected to draw scores of ARMY members decked out in BTS’ signature purple, complete with lightsticks and fan merchandise, turning the hotel into a temporary hub of K-pop fandom in Manila.

Reservations are available through the hotel’s official channels.
