AEV makes Fortune Southeast Asia 500 List for third straight year

Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. (AEV) has been named to the 2026 Fortune Southeast Asia 500 — its third consecutive year on the list of the region’s largest companies by revenue. Its affiliate, UnionBank, also made the ranking.

Published annually, the list ranks firms by revenue and measures their scale, performance, and economic impact. The recognition highlights AEV’s strong, resilient diversified portfolio covering power, banking, infrastructure, food, real estate, estates, and data science.

CEO Sabin M. Aboitiz said the honor reflects trust from people and partners, noting transformation is a continuous journey.

Recent moves include AboitizPower’s 2025 purchase of the CBK hydro complex and Aboitiz Foods’ acquisition of Singapore’s Diasham Resources. The group also has key partnerships in infrastructure and food & beverage, and is shifting into a “techglomerate” by embedding tech, data, and AI across businesses.

AEV said it will keep strengthening its portfolio, driving innovation, and supporting growth in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia.
