Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP), a fully owned unit of MacroAsia Corp., plans to finish and launch its new base maintenance facility at Clark International Airport by 2028.
The site will span around 157,000 square meters and hold up to nine bays for widebody aircraft. It will support LTP’s existing operations at NAIA in Manila and help strengthen the Philippines’ position as a key aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hub in the Asia-Pacific region.
LTP is part of the global Lufthansa Technik Group, offering full MRO services for aircraft including Airbus A320, A330, A340, A380, and Boeing 777. Services include maintenance checks, structural modifications, cabin upgrades, and lease inspections. Its main base is at NAIA, with additional stations in Cebu, Clark, Davao, and Kalibo. As of March 2026, it employs 3,125 skilled staff.
For the first quarter of 2026, LTP reported revenues of ₱5.04 billion—up from ₱4.41 billion a year earlier—but net income fell to ₱109.86 million from ₱423.14 million in Q1 2025.
