Globe and Disney host movie screenings for student leaders

Student leaders from across the Philippines gathered recently for special simultaneous screenings of Toy Story 5 organized by Globe and Disney in Clark, Bonifacio Global City, Dasmariñas, and Cebu City. The exclusive event brought together campus organizers and young changemakers, offering not just entertainment but also a space to build networks and exchange ideas amid today’s academic and social challenges.

Part of the long-running partnership between Globe and Disney, the activity uses storytelling to promote values of courage, resilience, and collaboration. Attendees also joined raffles for exclusive merchandise and learned about Globe’s student-focused rewards—including beep™ card load, food credits, coffee perks, and Timezone load—available through the GlobeOne app.

The activation also introduced the Globe Student Program, which allows student organizations to pitch community-focused projects and access support to turn ideas into real impact. According to Globe Consumer chief marketing officer Roche Vandenberghe, the initiative aims to give young leaders the platform to collaborate and create change beyond their campuses. By combining entertainment, technology, and community support, Globe continues to position itself as a partner in youth development and progress.
