Philippine gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. has become the newest member of the Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR), marking its growing presence in the Brazilian gaming sector. IBJR said that DigiPlus’ membership strengthens the institute’s work and helps build a fully sustainable, responsible betting environment across the country, adding that the move unites more industry players around ethical practices and efforts to curb illegal gambling.
Graham Tidey, DigiPlus Brazil managing director, noted that joining IBJR aligns with the company’s ongoing expansion in the nation, where it already runs the BingoPlus brand and plans further investments. He highlighted DigiPlus’ over 25 years of experience in entertainment and its pioneering role in digital gaming in the Philippines, saying the firm aims to replicate this success in Brazil while strictly following regulations and operating responsibly. DigiPlus brings its BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone brands to the institute’s membership roster.
IBJR chief executive Carlos Lima welcomed the new member, describing DigiPlus as a leading name in interactive gaming and sports entertainment across the Philippines and wider Asia. He said the company’s entry shows the Brazilian gaming industry is maturing, and underscores growing support for official regulation and action against unlicensed betting. Lima said the IBJR will continue to promote responsible gaming standards and put the protection of bettors first. Other current IBJR members include major operators such as bet365, Betsson Group, Entain, Flutter Brazil and Kaizen Gaming.
