Thousands of volunteers across the country came together for Brigada Eskwela 2026 to get public schools ready for the opening of classes, cleaning facilities, repainting areas, tending gardens and carrying out small repairs. Over 600 BDO employees took part in the effort, donating paint, supplies and vegetable seedlings to support work at six partner schools spanning Metro Manila, Isabela, Misamis Oriental and Negros Oriental. Education officials praised the initiative as proof that the Filipino spirit of bayanihan remains strong, noting the contributions bring hope to learners. BDO representatives thanked school communities and volunteers, adding that the bank’s long-running support for the program reflects how collective action helps build better learning spaces for Filipino youth.
