Globe partners PGH MFI to boost care for underserved Filipinos

Globe is expanding vital healthcare access for vulnerable communities through its long-running partnership with the PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. (PGH MFI). Serving over 600,000 patients yearly including charity cases, newborns and emergency cases, Philippine General Hospital is often the only option for low-income Filipinos needing life-saving treatment.

Last May, Globe Prepaid provided 5G WiFi devices with one year of service and cash aid via the GlobeOne app’s GoGIVE platform, supported by customer contributions. In 2025, users also donated rewards points worth around ₱630,000 to fund key equipment such as phototherapy systems and portable ultrasound units, enabling faster diagnosis and care.

The collaboration also strengthens frontline medical teams and builds on a decade of joint work starting with the 2016 pediatric cancer clinic rehabilitation project. Customers can keep supporting the cause by earning hearts through GoGIVE or donating rewards points via the GlobeOne app.
