Listed PhilWeb Corp. is expanding deeper into the country’s regulated online gaming market after securing the exclusive rights to distribute content from Games Global, a move that broadens its technology-driven services business and opens a new recurring revenue stream.
The agreement gives PhilWeb exclusive access to Games Global’s portfolio of more than 3,000 digital gaming titles, including content from over 40 international game studios, for distribution to licensed gaming operators in the Philippines.
The rollout is expected to begin within the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
The deal marks a strategic shift for PhilWeb, positioning the company further up the gaming value chain. Rather than relying solely on gaming operations, it is strengthening its role as a technology and content provider for licensed operators seeking to expand their digital offerings.
“This agreement represents an important milestone in PhilWeb’s long-term strategy of expanding its technology-enabled gaming services business. By securing this exclusive arrangement to deploy Games Global’s unparalleled content library, we are positioned to broaden our commercial relationships with licensed operators while creating a scalable and recurring revenue stream through technology-enabled services,” the company said.
PhilWeb will deliver the content through its remote technology infrastructure and application programming interface (API)-enabled platform, allowing operators to integrate Games Global’s portfolio while meeting local regulatory requirements.
The agreement also strengthens PhilWeb’s position as competition intensifies in the regulated online gaming sector, where operators are increasingly differentiating themselves through exclusive content, platform capabilities, and user experience rather than scale alone.
Games Global supplies interactive gaming content to more than 900 operators across over 20 regulated markets worldwide, making it one of the industry’s largest content providers.
The partnership extends beyond adding thousands of new titles for PhilWeb. The company said the higher volume of transactions flowing through its platform will support its longer-term digital strategy, including investments in platform intelligence, data analytics, and automated compliance tools.
As the Philippine online gaming industry continues to mature, technology providers are emerging as some of its biggest beneficiaries.
The exclusive content could prove to be as valuable as the games themselves for PhilWeb. It could create stickier relationships with operators and a steadier stream of technology-driven revenues.
