Tim Ho Wan to double Taiwan stores by 2030

Tim Ho Wan, the dim sum brand owned by the Jollibee Group, has unveiled a four-year growth strategy for Taiwan that will see its store network expand from 16 locations to 32 by the year 2030. Taiwan stands as one of the brand’s most successful franchise markets worldwide, and the expansion will be carried out in partnership with Hoyii Life, Tim Ho Wan’s exclusive franchise operator in the region.

As part of the initiative, the brand will also test a new store concept designed to cater to on-the-go and mobile consumers. Lessons and feedback gathered from this pilot program may be applied to Tim Ho Wan’s operations in other markets moving forward. This push for growth also highlights Tim Ho Wan’s key position within the Jollibee Group’s lineup of Chinese food brands, as well as its strong potential to grow as a widely recognized international brand.

Jeff Lin, chief executive officer of Hoyii Life, shared that the consistent support from the Jollibee Group across marketing, product creation, staff training, and daily operations has given the team greater confidence to hit all their expansion targets in Taiwan. Richard Shin, chief executive officer of JFC International and global chief financial and risk officer of the Jollibee Group, noted that the Taiwan plan shows how Tim Ho Wan can build lasting value by working with reliable franchise partners and meeting customer demand for genuine, affordable Asian dining options.
