The government has partnered with PLDT Inc. to deliver connectivity and digital infrastructure for the first regular Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Parliamentary Elections, aiming to ensure a transparent and credible process. Working alongside the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting, PLDT will support operations ahead of the September 14 polls, including hosting key election servers at its VITRO data centers to receive data directly from automated counting machines.
PLDT has supported the Commission on Elections’ digital infrastructure needs since the shift to electronic counting systems in 2016, with ties further strengthened during the 2025 midterm elections. The company will also supply connectivity for the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting Command Center at AMA and distribute prepaid SIM cards to aid coordination and monitoring. VITRO facilities are built for high reliability, engineered to withstand strong earthquakes and equipped with backup power systems to maintain steady service.
