K-Logistikus opens Bicol hub to speed deliveries

K-Logistikus Philippines is expanding in Bicol with a new crossdock hub in Tabaco City, Albay, as demand grows for faster and more reliable regional distribution.

The 1,500-square-meter Bicol Crossdock Hub can handle up to 20 outbound trucks daily and is positioned to serve key markets in Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, and Masbate.

Located along the Tabaco-Ligao Road, the facility gives K-Logistikus closer access to major retail centers and transport routes, allowing it to move goods nearer to customers and cut delivery lead times.

The expansion comes as businesses, particularly fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies, put greater emphasis on supply-chain efficiency, inventory availability, and faster replenishment.

“Bicol is an important growth corridor, and strengthening our presence in the region allows us to better support the evolving needs of businesses and the communities they serve,” K-Logistikus Philippines president and CEO Sulficio O. Tagud Jr. said.

The new hub is expected to streamline cargo handling and inventory movement, from inbound receipt through distribution and final delivery.

“Our new cross-dock hub enables us to move products closer to key markets, shorten delivery lead times, and respond more quickly to customer demand,” Tagud said.

The Tabaco facility is part of K-Logistikus’ broader nationwide expansion as logistics providers seek to build more responsive supply networks outside major urban centers.

For manufacturers and retailers, the push is increasingly about getting the right products to the right markets before demand moves on.

K-Logistikus currently serves more than 25,000 outlets nationwide, with operations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The Bicol expansion strengthens the company’s regional network while giving businesses another logistical advantage in a market where faster delivery can mean faster sales.
