Global Dominion Financing is rolling out a financing program for women-led businesses, offering funding for working capital, equipment, vehicles, property, and expansion as it seeks to widen access to credit among women entrepreneurs.
The company said its Giving Limitless Opportunities to Women (GLOW) program is aimed at addressing a financing gap among women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), which it estimates account for 66 percent of Philippine MSMEs, while only about 4 percent have formal access to financing.
“Women have always been the backbone of so many Filipino businesses and households, yet too many have had to grow without the financial support they deserve,” Global Dominion President and CEO Samuel Cariño said.
At the center of the program is the GLOW Loan, which can fund additional working capital, equipment, vehicles, lots, and business expansion.
Eligible borrowers include sole proprietors, partnerships with at least one woman partner, and corporations where a woman is a director, stockholder, or authorized representative.
Global Dominion said it may consider employment income or remittances alongside business revenue, provided the enterprise is already established.
The program also allows certain co-borrowing arrangements involving spouses, common-law partners, or immediate family members, giving qualified entrepreneurs another financing option where collateral or ownership structures may limit borrowing.
Beyond lending, GLOW includes business development workshops, networking opportunities, and mentorship.
“We built GLOW around how women actually run their businesses, and around the belief that access to capital should come with access to community,” Global Dominion enterprise division general manager Eleanor Yap said.
The program is available nationwide, giving women entrepreneurs access to a financing package that combines business funding with development and networking activities.
