Top Line Business Development Corp. has appointed veteran banking executive Jane K. Gocuan as chief investment officer, effective September 18, as the company expands its focus on investment-related activities and business development.
Gocuan, 55, brings more than 31 years of experience in the Philippine banking and financial services industry, with a career spanning foreign, government and private local banks.
Her experience covers branch and retail banking, priority banking, investments, treasury and lending, as well as client and relationship management, investment advisory and business development.
As CIO, Gocuan will oversee Top Line’s investment-related activities and help develop and implement the company’s investment strategies and initiatives.
Top Line said the appointment was made as part of its efforts to strengthen its investment capabilities and business development activities.
Gocuan holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of the Philippines-Cebu, where she graduated magna cum laude with her undergraduate degree.
She also holds an International Investment Advice Certificate from the Securities Institute of London.
The appointment was disclosed by Top Line in compliance with Philippine Stock Exchange and Securities and Exchange Commission requirements.
